ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—The Denver Broncos bolstered their receiving corps by taking Eric Decker of Minnesota in the third round of the NFL draft.
Decker was taken with the 87th overall pick Friday. Denver also selected offensive lineman J.D. Walton of Baylor seven picks earlier.
The Broncos began Day 2 of the draft by picking offensive lineman Zane Beadles of Utah in the second round (45th overall).
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Decker caught 50 passes for 758 yards and five touchdowns for the Gophers last season. The Broncos also took wideout Demaryius Thomas in the first round Thursday, along with Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.
