The weekend closure of West Sixth Avenue between Kipling Street and Simms Street/Union Boulevard to place a light-rail bridge has been postponed because of bad weather.
The Sixth Avenue closure will take place next weekend, April 30-May 2, with the same schedule and detours.
The road needs to be closed so workers can slowly roll out a 600-ton prefabricated light-rail bridge over the highway.
