Things are looking up
Today. “Beginner’s Guide to the Night Sky” is tonight’s program at the William Baehr Observatory at Pine Valley Ranch Park. It’s a chance for star-gazers to peer through telescopes to learn more about planets, stars, constellations and more. Sneak in some exercise
Sunday. Registration begins at 7 a.m. for the Cherry Creek Sneak, a festive annual event featuring different race levels including a 5-mile run/walk, a 3.1-mile (5K) run/walk, a 1-mile run, and half-mile Kids’ Fun Run. Racers can also support the Kempe Foundation for abused children by making a donation during registration or by raising pledges. $35 adult, $20 for racers under age 17 and over age 60, and $90 for a family four-pack.
