Mom as canvas
The Denver Art Museum gift shop begins its countdown to Mother’s Day today with the first in a series of trunk shows featuring Colorado-crafted jewelry — like the piece pictured here by Boulder designer Katrina Marhefka. Eight artists will be featured in trunk shows happening Saturdays through May 9, and several of them will be on hand to talk about how each piece was designed and fabricated. The DAM gift shop is located near West 13th Avenue between Broadway and Bannock Street.
