When Village Homes disappeared from the market last year for reorganization, they left behind a huge number of fans of their Colorado-born-and-bred home designs and, even more, their immensely popular communities. Today, you can come see Village back in action with a roomy new series of homes that brings its architecture–and the terrific amenities–down to a range even a first-time buyer can afford.

Village actually previewed its new Park Collection a year ago, before other builders reacted to the price-sensitive market. “They flew off the shelf,” says Village Vice President Jennifer Pingrey. Today they go back on the market in Village’s spectacular Idyllwilde neighborhood in Parker; at Watercolor in The Meadows, Castle Rock; and Observatory Village in Fort Collins (up there, word got out and four homes sold this past week).

In all three areas, you’ll see community design that’s way beyond what you find from big, nationally-marketed companies…all of them award-winners. “Our buyers really want community — the location, the schools,” says Kristi Kissinger, who can show you a Park Series “Washington” design already under contract at Idyllwilde, around the corner from the community’s trails and ranch-style community rec/pool center; a few blocks from highly acclaimed Legend High School.

The Washington is priced from around $300,000 in all three areas…yet delivers 2,547 square feet with four bedrooms and a loft that can go fifth-bedroom. The three-car garage is standard.

That’s one of five homes…including a ranch (almost 1,700 feet, from the $260s in Parker and Castle Rock; the $250s in Fort Collins). All have energy performance that Village Homes was delivering long before other builders…now rated to Energy Star standards. Meanwhile, Village used the time off the market to streamline their processes (third-party inspections, warranty, and design-center selections) to bring these in at the new price point. “Buyers who’ve bought from us before are going to be even more pleased with the process,” says company President Matt Osborn, who’s operating the new entity for a partnership between Homebuilder Capital Solutions and Lowe Enterprises.

You can see the plans at all three areas…and more importantly, the sites, wrapped by those Colorado styled amenities. Idyllwilde is east of Parker Road on Hess Road, a mile to Canterberry Parkway. Watercolor in Castle Rock is 2.3 miles west of I-25 on Meadows Parkway to Dragonfly; Fort Collins’ Observatory Village (North Metro community of the Year) is west of I-25 on Harmony a mile to Lady Moon.
