Getting your player ready...
Ken Green learned over the weekend that he can still play competitive golf, coming back to team with Mike Reid in the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf in Savannah, Ga. The duo shot a best-ball 71 on Sunday to finish at 12-under-par 204 in the Champions Tour event. Last June, Green was in a crash that killed his brother and girlfriend, and he chose to have the lower part of his right leg amputated after doctors told him it would give him the best chance of playing golf again. “I’ve got to learn to play those (harder) courses again,” he said. “I can do this. And I desperately want to do this.”
