Air Force officers and personnel will soon have access to a new global social networking system so they can communicate with their families when they are overseas or across the country.
A pilot program began operating earlier this month, and the Air Force will phase the network in over the next two weeks at “social media sites” Air Force-wide. Air Force personnel can use the social media sites to communicate with their families, schools and professional contacts.
