On Friday night at the , and early into their tour supporting a pair of new EPs (January’s “Abnormalities” and April’s “Realities”), seems to have already fallen into a musical coma.
Opening acts New Politics, with their acrobatic frontman, AM Taxi, with their bounding energy, and heartbreaker Tyler Hilton were able to amp up the full house to carry fans through Spill Canvas’ sleepy set.
The Spill Canvas never reached the same level of energy as the opening bands. And although most fans didn’t seem to mind, I did overhear screams of “Wake it up, guys!” coming from various parts of the venue. — Jennifer Cohen
