Traffic on a portion of West Colfax Avenue is down to one lane in each direction as work crews repair a broken water line.
Denver Water is repairing an eight-inch water main on the busy avenue between Tennyson and Stuart Streets in west Denver, according to a media release from the water utility.
Three businesses and 11 homes are currently without water. Repairs should be complete by 8 p.m. tonight.
Drivers should take alternate routes if possible and avoid the area in order to sidestep delays.
