
The Rockies had won two out of three games in each of their first three home series before Wednesday’s loss left them 1-2 vs. the Diamondbacks. And the Rockies had strung together eight consecutive winning homestands before splitting six games with Florida and Arizona.

On the off chance Matt Belisle forgets to remind the boys in the bullpen, he lined a two-run double to left off Leo Rosales in the third inning. Belisle had five hits in 74 career at-bats going into the season.

Dexter Fowler is finally starting to get some balls to fall from the left side of the plate. He started the season 3-for-36 (.083) vs. right-handers, but has gone 8-for-18 since then to raise his average to .204.
