The Nuggets have two key front-office vice presidents, Rex Chapman and Mark Warkentien. Both have contracts that expire at the end of the summer, and team ownership will have to decide whether to bring them back.
Neither executive spoke publicly about his future, but both plan to continue working hard through the summer.
“I feel like this league has always been about the players, coaches and owners, and the rest of us are highly replaceable,” Chapman said. “I’m humbled to have a job in the league for the past 22 years and am really proud of our organization. It’s a privilege to go to work every day for the Denver Nuggets. I’m very lucky.”
