The Adventure Xstreams Series makes its return to the state this weekend in Buena Vista around the Collegiate Peaks area. This adventure race, which is open to solo competitors and teams of two or four, is Saturday and still has openings. There are four divisions ranging from 30 miles to 300-plus miles, and all divisions include kayaking, mountain biking and trail running. The longer divisions also include a rope course and night orienteering. The events are designed for weekend warriors as well as elite athletes. Other in-state races in the series include June 26 at Durango and Glenwood Springs on Sept. 11.
