ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS ASSOCIATION: Announced that Todd Ablowitz, president of Centennial-based Double Diamond Group, received the 2010 Member of the Year award. Ablowitz is a former First Data executive who formed Double Diamond Group in 2008.

MODERN HEALTHCARE: Named Kevin Lofton, president and chief executive of Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives, one of the Top 25 Minority Executives in Healthcare. Lofton has appeared on all three of the biennial listings of top minority executives since the publication began the roster in 2006.

HDR: Appointed Jon Holbrook as a senior federal-program manager.

REGIS UNIVERSITY: Elected Mary Pacifico-Valley, president and owner of Rickenbaugh Cadillac-Volvo, and Maureen Barker, executive vice president and president of investment and wealth management for UMB Bank Colorado, to the board of trustees.

COMMUNITY FOOD SHARE: Recently added Denise Curd, executive director of Quist Valuation, to the board of directors.

ACADEMY OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SCIENCES: Selected Philip Reichel, professor of criminal justice and director of the School of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Northern Colorado, to represent the organization at the 12th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

ESM: Named Paul Konkel as its chief information officer.

VAIL RESORTS: Appointed Hil ary Schneider, executive vice president of Yahoo Americas, to the board of directors.
