A 75-year-old Johnstown man has been arrested as a suspect in a decade-old case of sexual assault on a child case, police said.
Doyle Ford was arrested Monday on suspicion of assaulting a girl who was between the ages of 5 and 7 at a Fort Collins gymnastics school about 10 years ago, according to a media release from the Fort Collins Police Department.
The alleged victim, now 16, told investigators that she was assaulted on “several occasions” while attending an after-school program at GK Gymnastics, 4211 S. Mason St., police said.
Ford was a janitor at the school from 1997 through 2002, police said, and he also worked as a janitor at Letford Elementary School in Johnstown in the 1990s.
