TAMPERE, Finland—Damon Williams scored 27 points, fellow American Chris Hester had 25 and Pyrinto of Tampere won its first Finnish basketball title, beating Torpan Pojat of Helsinki 77-61 on Saturday for a 3-2 series victory.
The 36-year-old Williams, a former Southern Colorado player, averaged 22.6 points in the final five games. Hester played at Eastern Washington.
