Steve Kelley not only emceed Glory Community’s annual fundraiser, “Stetsons to Stilettos” — he donned a pair of fire-engine-red, sky-high heels to try to beat the other men brave enough to participate in the evening’s Stiletto Strut. Elsewhere, two trustees of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts — Ann Padilla and Judi Wolf — hosted a reception and viewing of the play “Mariela in the Desert” for a hand-picked group of the city’s Latino leaders, and Arapahoe House launched the ticket-selling effort for a Sept. 24 luncheon starring Dr. Drew Pinsky of the VH1 reality show “Celebrity Rehab.”
