MINNEAPOLIS — Xcel Energy Inc., the largest utility owner in Colorado, may sell $550 million of notes due in 2020 after boosting the size of its offering, according to a person familiar with the transaction.
The senior unsecured debt may yield 120 basis points more than similar-maturity Treasurys, said the person, who declined to be identified because terms aren’t set.
