Commerce City police said Wednesday that three men “believed to be involved in the arson” that killed 12 horses, several chickens and a goat at a Commerce City corral were questioned by detectives Tuesday.

The three live in Denver and are 38, 42 and 53 years old, according to a statement from Lt. Dennis Moon, spokesman for the Commerce City Police Department.

The men were released pending further investigation, Moon said.

The fire occurred about 3:15 p.m. Sunday at the stable in the 8400 block of Uinta Street.
