The long bopper should be primed for a top finish in the next stop on the PGA Tour, the Byron Nelson Championship in Irving, Texas. Ranking third in driving distance, Holmes has the strength to contend with the inevitable strong winds. But he also has developed into a deft putter (No. 15) and was third in greens-in-regulation at San Antonio last week. Holmes ranks 15th in FedEx Cup points. It would not come as a surprise if this is where he breaks through for his first 2010 victory.
