A Denver woman will be among those featured today on QVC’s National Makeover Day. The television shopping channel is teaming up with Dress for Success for this year’s makeovers, and selected six participants from the organization’s chapters around the country to profile and offer makeovers to, including Beverly Brown of Denver. She’ll be telling her story to Joi Gordon, the national president for Dress for Success. Brown, a single mother of three, first went to the group’s Denver affiliate in 2008 and received clothing to start her job at Kaplan College. She joined Dress for Success’ Professional Women’s Group, and became an ambassador for the group. She’s currently director of career services at Kaplan College. Presenters during the day include makeup guru Bobbi Brown, fashion designer Bradley Bayou and financial expert Suze Orman. More at
