Getting your player ready...
The Broncos’ first organized team activity this week was quite active for quarterbacks, receivers and defensive backs.
But for the players who line up in the trenches on both offense and defense, this passing camp was more time for instruction and learning the playbook. The Broncos have yet to run any 11-on-11 drills, and there was no hitting allowed this weeek because players are wearing only jerseys and helments.
“You really don’t know much until you put the pads on. This time of year it is hard to get a feel of things,” defensive lineman Justin Bannan said. “When you get to training camp and put the pads on and everything starts going for real, then you get a feel for things.”
