An updated field for next week’s Senior PGA Championship at Colorado Golf Club was released Thursday and a couple of noteable names have dropped out: Corey Pavin and Curtis Strange.
Pavin has opted to play the PGA Tour stop at the Colonial, and Strange withdrew for personal reasons. Also out of the field is Lanny Wadkins, who has a back injury.
Among those added to the field is Colorado Springs native R.W. Eaks, who went to school at Northern Colorado before going pro in 1976.
The 72-hole event starts Thursday at the private club in Parker.
