Oakwood Homes’ ‘New Beginnings’ model center in Green Valley Ranch was already the fastest selling new home center in the Denver area when the builder brought out two, new, value-packed home designs in mid-March. Today is the first chance to tour inside those two–but 48 homebuyers have already put down contracts on them, sight unseen.
“People keep asking us, ‘I can get it for how much?'” says Oakwood’s Dwayne Montoya, who’ll be on hand today with Jeff Friant and a stack of pepperoni pizzas, to show Oakwood’s finished model homes of the ‘Emery’ and ‘Turner’ plans. With a $3,500 option included, Oakwood can deliver the Emery as a 3-bedroom design, with 2-car attached garage and a powder bath on the main, for only $157,380 — $979/month PITI on 30-year FHA 3.5%-down financing.
Oakwood also launches a ‘Swing Into Summer’ incentive today, that would let you add three free features onto that home, one-each from three option lists. …Say, a spa-style bath with seamless glass-door shower and rain head, plus front yard landscaping, plus closing costs.
Meanwhile, Friant and Montoya say they’re seeing a more relaxed attitude among visitors to Green Valley Ranch this month…more confidence in where Denver is headed (one buyer brought their parents in, who ALSO bought an Oakwood home, so that they can babysit their grand kids). “We make it easy for people,” adds Friant, who had just finished up with one couple, walking them through the process on how they could get things started: pick a plan and a site (these new Emery and Turner plans can go near Green Valley Ranch golf course) and, of course, choosing those free options. Oakwood has a free Home Buyers Club that helps buyers work through any credit issues before signing; and a seller-assist program if help is needed with an older home or condo.
To keep things moving, Oakwood has a handful of ‘specs’ of those two newest plans under way, with the best options already included, on track to close by August. That includes three of the larger ‘Turner’ — 1,667 feet, including a basement for around $190,000. You can also see Oakwood’s new ‘Francisco’ and ‘Fairview’ plans from the Carson Collection – close to 2,000 feet that includes finished basement space.
Of course, when you come see the models in Green Valley Ranch, you’ll notice DPS’ new Science & Technology K-12 campus, taking shape just north of Green Valley Ranch Boulevard, set to open this year. Pizzas are served noon-2; from Pena Blvd (DIA freeway) head east on 48th/Green Valley Ranch Blvd. 1.5 mile, past Tower to Ceylon.
