DENVER—Colorado’s newest state senator has been sworn in.
Denver business owner Lucia Guzman took the oath of office Friday administered by Colorado Supreme Court Justice Alex Martinez.
Guzman replaces Sen. Paula Sandoval, a Democrat from Denver who left the Colorado Senate to serve on the Denver City Council.
