DENVER—The University of Colorado says the chancellor of its campuses in Denver and Aurora is resigning those positions effective June 30, with a year remaining on his five-year contract with CU.
University spokesman Ken McConnellogue said Friday that M. Roy Wilson will have new responsibilities through the end of his contract. That will include consulting with the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities and with the Association of Academic Health Centers.
McConnellogue says Wilson will look at how to boost funding for higher education and increase the nation’s health care work force.
Wilson will assume the title of chancellor emeritus.
