A hiker missing since Thursday in Clear Creek Canyon was found dead Saturday by search-and-rescue teams. Authorities with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office identified the hiker as Kevin Roberts, 20, of Denver.
Roberts was hiking with friends Thursday in Clear Creek Canyon when he disappeared.
His body was found about 1 p.m. Saturday in heavy brush near Clear Creek in the Mount Zion area.
Authorities believe Roberts died from a fall.
