PUEBLO — A 53-year-old Pueblo man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on a Pueblo street early Saturday.
The victim was identified as Refugio Greta-Escobeda of Pueblo.
Greta-Escobeda was riding a bicycle eastbound at 1:36 a.m. at 1600 E. 4th St. when he was struck by a vehicle, said Sgt. Dan Rutherford of the Pueblo Police Department.
The driver of the vehicle drove away from the scene. The vehicle, a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, was located at 4:50 p.m., parked on the street and showing visible damage. Pueblo police said 27-year-old Justin Hines is a person of interest in the incident.
