ESTES PARK — U.S. 34 is now open following a rock slide that closed a 13-mile stretch of the road from Estes Park to Drake, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Crews blasted loose approximately 500 cubic yards of material and then cleaned the area and made roadway repairs, said Mindy Crane of CDOT.
On Friday, the Colorado State Patrol reported the slide damaged one car. No one was hurt.
