SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Authorities say three people exchanging information after a freeway crash were hit by another vehicle and killed.
The fatal accident happened at about 2:10 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 101 in Los Angeles’ Sherman Oaks district.
The California Highway Patrol says the three killed had been involved in a three-car accident and had stepped out of their vehicles to exchange information when they were struck by a 2000 BMW.
