The Bonfils-Stanton Awards have been called Colorado’s answer to the Nobel Prize, and the 25th- anniversary recipients — Dr. Charles Dinarello, Dr. Patricia Gabow and Hal Gould — were recognized at a lunch that also celebrated the nonprofit leaders named Livingston Fellows for 2010. There wasn’t an empty seat in Shorter Community A.M.E. Church when the acclaimed Morehouse Glee Club performed at a concert that raised money for scholarships to Morehouse College in Atlanta, the nation’s only private, historically black liberal arts college for men. And, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver received proceeds from the Jack Vickers Invitational, a tournament and auction held at Castle Pines.
