A tornado warning has been issued for portions of Denver and Adams County, including Denver International Airport.
The warning was issued at 1:31 p.m. and will be posted through 2:15 p.m.
The areas include west and central Adams County and northeastern Denver.
At about 1:32 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was reported over Commerce City and the storm was moving north at about 10 mph, the weather service reports.
Other areas in the warning include Brighton, Thornton and Barr Lake.
