COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—Two semitrailers have collided head-on in Commerce City, killing both drivers in an inferno and closing roads in the north-Denver suburb.
Officer Christian Rasmussen says a truck driving south on Quebec Street veered over the center median and struck a semitrailer headed north shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday. Both trucks burst into flames.
Rasmussen says it’s not clear if there were any passengers in the trucks. Several blocks of Quebec are closed while the investigation and cleanup take place.
