A 45-year-old Highlands Ranch man who pleaded guilty to child-pornography charges was sentenced this week to seven years in federal prison and five years of supervised probation.

An undercover online investigation in 2008 led FBI agents to Wayne Cook’s home in Highlands Ranch, where child pornography was being distributed.

Agents found about 2,000 images and 30 videos on his computer.

Cook, who was sentenced Tuesday, will be subject to unannounced searches of his home, automobile and electronic media.
