
Railroad Days in Limon.
Limon’s third annual Railroad Days will be celebrated June 12 and 13 at the Limon Heritage complex. There will be model train displays and the dining car will be serving food. The Limon Firehouse also will be offering grilled food and a swap meet.
Tour de Forks.
The annual Tour de Forks will kick off the summer June 20 with offerings of culinary delights throughout the Gunnison-Crested Butte Valley area. Locations including mountain homes and stunning outdoor vistas will set the stage for 20 themed events with food prepared by local and visiting chefs in tandem with local hosts. Each event is individually priced and reservations are required. The Crested Butte Center for the Arts will begin processing reservations Tuesday. Colorado Bicycle Tour.
The 16th annual Bicycle Tour of Colorado begins in Gunnison June 20 and ends there June 26. The tour is limited to 1,500 cyclists. The more-than-470-mile loop includes stops in Creede; Alamosa; Chama, N.M.; Pagosa Springs; and Center.
Blues in Grand County.
The Grand County Blues Society has announced the lineup for the eighth annual Blues From the Top Festival, which starts with a free concert at the new Hideaway Park venue June 24, followed by another free concert June 25 at 4 p.m. and an 8 p.m. concert at Cooper Creek Square ($20). This year’s regular roster on June 26 will feature Soul Artist of the Year Curtis Salgado, along with Walter Trout, Trampled Under Foot, Ana Popovic, Nick Moss and the Flip Tops, Song of the Year winner Mike Zito, Smokin Joe Kubek, Dick50 (from Delbert McClinton’s Band) and more. The main event begins June 26 at 10 a.m. and goes until 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per day for both days; day-of-show tickets are $30 per day; VIP $75 per day.
