BOULDER — A 13-year-old Longmont boy who became lost during an early morning walk from his family’s campsite northwest of Ward has been found.
The boy walked from the campsite near Beaver Reservoir early Saturday while his family slept and lost his way. When family members couldn’t find the boy, a search began.
The boy — cold, wet and tired but unhurt — turned up near the Peak- to-Peak highway about 1 p.m. and a property owner contacted Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, according to a written statement from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
