COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—An Army sergeant stationed at Fort Carson died in a single-vehicle accident in Colorado Springs.

Colorado State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid says the soldier died late Sunday when his pickup truck veered off the road and flipped, throwing the man from his vehicle.

The sergeant’s identity is not being released pending notification of family. Reid says neither drugs, alcohol, nor speed are suspected.

Investigators were trying to determine why the soldier lost control of his vehicle.
