
Police say two men pulled a woman out of a car stopped at a red light in Aurora and sexually assaulted her.
The incident happened at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Mississippi Avenue and Peoria Street, according to an Aurora Police Department news release.
The victim told police she was stopped at a red light and two men approached her and asked for change.
“The suspects physically forced the woman from her car and sexually assaulted her,” the release said.
The victim described one suspect to police as a tall, light-skinned black man in his 20s. He was wearing a white hoodie, gold earrings in his right ear and a red skull cap.
The second suspect is described as a skinny, dark-complected black man, about 40, with graying hair who is balding on the sides. He was wearing a red shirt, dark pants, a red and white “doo-rag,” and a gold hoop earring in his left ear. He had tattoos on his right arm. The victim did not see a vehicle associated with the suspects.
Police have released a sketch of one suspect.
