Two passersby pulled a man from a car submerged in an irrigation ditch in Larimer County this afternoon.
“The swift actions of these two individuals most definitely saved this man’s life,” according to a statement from the Poudre Valley Fire Authority.
Their names were not released.
The car was upside down in the into the Lake Canal ditch at East Mulberry Street and Dawn Avenue in Fort Collins just after 2 p.m.
The man was rushed to Poudre Valley Hospital with injuries, but is expected to survive, authorities said.
