• Because of a reporting error, a story Thursday on Page 2B reporting from a speech by Kevin Jennings, U.S. assistant deputy education secretary, about a federal effort to make schools safer incorrectly listed integrating school climate as a department goal through Title IX. Although Jennings said that in December in a similar speech, it is no longer a Department of Education goal, a spokesman said.
