Dinner for 1,900; skits that poked good-natured fun at former House Speaker Terrance Carroll and three other civic leaders; and a dinner, where $2.7 million in grants are awarded. It doesn’t get any better than this, and Denver is fortunate to have a caring and generous population that supports fundraising events such as the Mizel Museum’s Community Cultural Enrichment Award dinner, Curious Theatre’s Denver Stories and the Susan G.
