DENVER—At least two tornadoes have touched down on Colorado’s eastern plains and thunderstorms have unleashed rain and hail on the edges of the Denver-metro area.
No immediate damage was reported Thursday. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for the metro area and northeastern Colorado through 11 p.m.
Meanwhile, officials in the Vail area and Boulder County are still watching the water levels in rivers that are running high because of quickly melting snow due to hot weather. Some homes have been flooded and bridges have been damaged or washed out.
