Steven DeHaven of Colorado Springs pleaded guilty Thursday to aiding in the preparation of a false tax return before U.S. District Court Chief Judge Wiley Daniel, U.S. Attorney David Gaouette and IRS Agent-in-Charge Christopher Sigerson announced Friday.
Daniel deferred acceptance of the plea agreement until sentencing, which is scheduled for Aug. 31. DeHaven remains free on a $25,000 bond.
