DENVER—Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jane Norton says she would seek a total repeal of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul if she is elected.
Norton said Thursday at the annual meeting of the trade group Colorado Ski Country USA that she also would push for more targeted reform.
The four Senate candidates from the major parties all addressed the group.
Republican Ken Buck said that what people have told him is they don’t trust that the policies are good for the country.
Democrat Andrew Romanoff said health care shouldn’t be tethered to people’s jobs and that the U.S. needs health care reform, not just health insurance reform. Democrat Michael Bennet is pushing for better access to health care.
