DENVER—Republican Walker Stapleton will be listed as a candidate for state treasurer in the Aug. 10 primary.
The secretary of state’s office said Friday that the Greenwood Village businessman had collected enough signatures to appear on the ballot.
Stapleton decided to petition onto the ballot rather than being nominated through the state party assembly. He said he turned in nearly three times the minimum 26,000 signatures required.
