STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — A man reportedly shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself Friday morning in a west Steamboat Springs house, police said. Both were hospitalized.

Steamboat Springs Police Department Capt. Joel Rae said it appears that 55-year-old Robert Cash shot his wife, 48-year-old Rhonda Cash, in the back of the neck.

Paramedics took both to Yampa Valley Medical Center with serious injuries.
