Three western Colorado counties have received a $4.9 million federal grant to make businesses and homes more energy efficient.
The grant will go to Eagle, Pitkin and Gunnison counties. The Western Slope project was one of 20 community initiatives nationwide receiving the federal stimulus funds from the Department of Energy.
