BAGGS, Wyo. — A cabin in Baggs known as the Butch Cassidy Cabin has been renamed Baggs Outlaw Stop to properly reflect its history.
Little Snake River Museum officials said documents show that notorious outlaw Butch Cassidy bought chickens in the town and was friends with a fiddler who lived in the cabin. Cassidy may have attended parties there, but officials said the name implied that Cassidy lived in the cabin.
