GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—A man suspected of killing his wife and dumping her body in western Colorado has been ordered extradited to the U.S. to face charges.

The United Kingdom’s Secretary of state this week ordered Marcus Bebb-Jones extradited to the U.S. to face first-degree murder, concealing death and domestic violence charges. A British judge in April rejected Bebb-Jones’ arguments that a life sentence, if convicted, would violate his human rights.

Bebb-Jones’ arrest in England in November came after a 12-year investigation into the death of his wife, Sabrina Bebb-Jones. Garfield County Sheriff’s officials and the district attorney’s office investigated the case.

Sabrina Bebb-Jones skull was found by a rancher near Douglas Pass northwest of Fruita in 2004.
