Gary and Alex Kephart of Eisenhower Golf Club won their third Colorado Golf Association Father-Son Championship at Eagle Ranch Golf Course.

The Kepharts, who led by one stroke after Saturday’s first round, shot a 1-over-par 73 on Sunday in foursome stroke play and finished with a 5-under total of 139, two strokes better than defending champions Kent and Steven Moore.

The Kepharts also won the tournament in 2005 and 2007. They and Bob and Eric Heiny (1989, 1991 and 1992) are the only three-time champions of the tournament, which debuted in 1983.

Sky Sox pound Las Vegas again.

Dexter Fowler hit a triple and scored a run and Brad Eldred and Cole Garner each had three RBIs, leading the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox to an 11-6 victory at Las Vegas.

Alan Johnson allowed five runs in 6 1/3 innings for the Sky Sox (30-32), but he improved to 6-2 with the win. Matt Reynolds picked up his first save.

It was the second consecutive Pacific Coast League game in which Colorado Springs scored in double figures. The Sky Sox routed Las Vegas 10-1 on Saturday.
