Aurora police are looking for a man suspected of wounding a woman in a shooting Friday afternoon in the 1100 block of North Yosemite Street.
The woman, who was not named, was shot in the upper body, but her injuries were not life-threatening, Aurora police said today.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Miguel Christian Wise. The 33-year-old suspect might still have the gun he used in the shooting, police said.
Those who may see Wise are encouraged to call 911 or their local law enforcement agency immediately. Anyone with information also can call Aurora police Detective Chuck Mehl at 303-739-6213.
Police have said Wise and the victim are well-acquainted.
